Now Enrolling: 2024-25 School Year

Mentoring teams — including a mentor, mentee and administrator — are invited to enroll now in the Get SET Nebraska program for the 2024-25 school year. Program access is free and will remain open through July 31, 2024.

How to access materials

Upon enrolling, you will receive an email with a password to access materials for the Administrative Leadership Academy and the Induction and Mentorship Program from this page. Research-based materials and resources are provided online, including administrative learning guides, induction and mentorship handbooks, interactive learning modules and more. Administrative Leadership Academy

June-early August

Overview

The Administrative Leadership Academy requires administrators to complete five self-paced learning modules that will assist you in supporting new special education teachers through the Induction and Mentorship Program, which is rolled out in three phases (see below for details).
 

Content & Timeline
  • Five Learning Modules: Complete by July 31 (Approximately 5 hours).
  • Pre-Trip Check: Complete prior to start of Induction and Mentorship Program (Approximately 40 minutes).

Induction and Mentorship Program

August-May

Overview

The Induction and Mentorship Program requires mentors to support mentees through three phases during the school year. Each phase includes a self-paced learning module with professional development resources designed to support special education teachers and foster relationships through responsive mentorship.

Content & Timeline*
  • Phase 1: Aug. 1-First Day of Student Classes
  • Phase 2: Sept. 1-April 30
  • Phase 3: May 1-End of School Year

*Completion of Phases 1 and 3 may be adjusted to fit your needs, but Phase 2 must be completed within the dates indicated above.
